Albatera

This small town is a good place to base yourself for a holiday or to live in. Its close to the main resorts and beaches on the Costa Blanca coastline. Its 35 minutes from Torrevieja but is the total opposite and very quiet. It has quite a few Park Home type resorts around it for this reason. The backdrop is beautiful mountains, and the main population is Spanish. It has supermarkets and a small number of shops and restaurants, but the good motorway links get you to the major town of Elche in 10 minutes by car and the beaches of La Marina and Guardamar are 30 minutes’ drive away.
